I like AOL Call Alert. This is a great
service if you're tired of having to split your phone line between
computer use, and taking calls, and dread the thought of a second
phone line.
AOL Call Alert is great if you want to know who is calling so
that you don't miss important phone calls when online.

$7.95 per month.
This is AOL's most advanced service, and it shows, because
it's a whole lot more than just call alerts when you're online.
AOL Call Alert plus Voicemail takes ALL your missed messages
-- even when you're not on the computer! That's right, it
can replace your normal answering machine or voicemail service.
You might as well call it our own online answering machine.
>You'll also have the power to pick-up your e-mails and listen
to voicemail from your computer, or any phone, anywhere.
Of course, it also includes the Internet Caller ID and phone
alert features in other AOL Call Alert services.

Review Guy Says:
A great
replacement for your home voicemail system! (And with all
the Internet Call Alert features, it's cheaper than my telephone
company's voicemail package!)
I'm impressed by the ability to check your messages from a
PC or a phone. This is useful if you're at work and want to
check your home voicemail.
If you run a business from your home, this is even more valuable
-- since you can check your messages while on the road through
the Internet, and avoid paying airtime fees (which happens
to me all the time when I use my cell phone to dial in and
check my home messages.)
That's in addition to AOL's full Internet Call Waiting and
message-taking services. Hopefully, you can see that I'm a
fan of the AOL Call Alert plus Voicemail package! :-)
